The 日韩无码, the City of Fairbanks and other local agencies have joined forces to clean up Noyes Slough and the Chena River. The event is at its 11th edition. The effort is part of 日韩无码鈥檚 Stormwater Management Plan to prevent pollutants from entering local water bodies.

Volunteers are needed on Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to noon, to help clean Noyes Slough. A 10- to 15-minute orientation and safety briefing will begin at 9 a.m. at the Lion's Club Park picnic shelter off of Danby Road. Volunteers can assist on foot or can sign up to float the slough. Canoes, paddles and the required life jackets will be provided free of charge. Volunteers are also welcome to bring their own watercraft and gear.

Volunteers also will receive free safety vests, gloves and other equipment. Participating 日韩无码 staff and students are encouraged to wear 日韩无码 or Nanook hats or shirts to show 日韩无码's support for the community and the cleanup effort.
