The 日韩无码 is sponsoring 日韩无码 Day at the Tanana Valley State Fair Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012. Bring your 日韩无码 PolarExpress card or 日韩无码 Alumni Association membership card and receive $1 off adult fair admission.
This year, 日韩无码 is teaming up with the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District for the Books from the 鈥楴ooks book drive. From noon to 5 p.m., people can bring books appropriate for children and young adults to the fair on Aug. 7. For every book donated, you will receive an entry for a drawing to win four tickets to a university event. The books will be donated to first-year elementary school teachers in the district to help them establish libraries in their classrooms.
From noon to 5 p.m. on 日韩无码 Day, 18 university departments will host activities and demonstrations in two locations: Totem Square near the blue gate and the exhibit tent near the yellow gate.
Throughout the fair, visit 日韩无码鈥檚 main booth in the Borealis Pavilion for information, class schedules, undergraduate applications and details about the upcoming semester. Admissions counselors will be available to answer questions about registering for classes and applying to degree programs.
The 日韩无码 Passport will return to the fair this year. Fairgoers can pick up a passport at any of the following seven locations: the main 日韩无码 booth in the Borealis Pavilion, Cooperative Extension, 日韩无码 Community and Technical College, 日韩无码 political science department, UA College Savings, the 日韩无码 Alumni Association burger booth, KSUA student radio and 4H. Passports must be stamped at every booth and then can be entered into a drawing to win two tickets to a variety of 日韩无码 events.
ADDITIONAL CONTACTS: Cheri Renson, 日韩无码 events coordinator, at 907-474-5114 or carenson@alaska.edu.
