Recycled glass workshop

The public and students are invited to a workshop on turning recycled glass into jewelry, small sculpture and functional art from 6 - 9 p.m. on Nov. 30, and from 9 a.m - 2 .pm. on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 - 2.  The workshop will be taught by 日韩无码 art students Jeannine Haney, Jim Copus, and Mariah Scott, and is sponsored by the 日韩无码 , and Alaska Metal Arts Guild. The workshop will take place in the 日韩无码 jewelry and metalsmithing studio on the second floor of the Fine Arts complex on the 日韩无码 campus.

Cost is $150 per person, which includes the materials fee.There is a 20 percent discount for payment received by Nov. 10. Each student will walk away with glass cups, beads for jewelry makin-, and a small sculptural piece using mold making, slumping and fusing techniques; all from recycled glass. This workshop will be mostly hands on learning.
