I am pleased to announce that I have appointed Julie Queen as ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë’s Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services. Julie is known across the university for her strategic approach to problem solving and commitment to engaging process improvement.

Vice Chancellor Queen has served as the Interim VCAS since March 2019, and her leadership and dedication during the challenges of this past year has been invaluable.

Julie joined ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë in 2004 as part of the administrative services team, and earned her MBA from ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë’s School of Management. She worked as the Executive Officer as part of the shared IT services organization between ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë and UA Statewide from 2006-2012. In 2012 she became the first director of the Office of Management and Budget, where she was instrumental in launching OMB’s decision support and analysis work and the Process Improvement and Training (PIT) Crew. She has served as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Financial Services since 2016.

Julie’s leadership at ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë has been thoughtful and strategic, and I am thankful that she will continue to bring her perspective and advocacy to the table as part of the core leadership team. Please join me in welcoming her to this role.
