Encanto Northern Lights to feature mix of opera, mariachi

The ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë will host the Encanto Northern Lights concert, a blend of classical opera and traditional mariachi music, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Davis Concert Hall.

The concert will feature Seattle opera and bolero tenor Jose Iniguez and students of ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë music professor Jaunelle Celaire. They will be joined by Mariachi Huenachi, the well-known mariachi band from Wenatchee High School in Wenatchee, Washington.

Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for general admission and $15 at the door. Advance tickets are available at or the ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë Wood Center information desk.
