Call for ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë Meritorious Service Award nominees

The ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë Meritorious Service Awards Committee is reaching out to its extended communities
to request nominations for the ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë Meritorious Service Award for the 2012 - 2013 academic
year.
The ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë Meritorious Service Award is a high and rare honor, given to individuals for
outstanding service that is typically locale-oriented. Nominees should be individuals
who have demonstrated evidence of significant services publicly, academically, voluntarily
or philanthropically; have provided services to ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë or to one of the community campuses,
or to an Alaska community; have longevity of commitment and/or service; and/or diversity
– culturally and/or discipline.
The official criteria for this award is outlined in the UA Board of Regents’ policy
().
To submit a nomination, please mail or email letters of nomination and supporting

In addition to the letter of nomination, nominations may include the nominee’s resume, and up to five letters of support as supporting documentation.
The nomination deadline is Friday, Aug. 31. ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë will hand present the awards during ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë's May 2013.
